Concrete Moisture Meter For Measuring Moisture Content In Concrete Floors And Slabs

STEP ONE

Analysis: Moisture, Cracks & Hardness

During the in-person appointment, our technicians will analyze the slab to perform moisture test, analyze cracks in the slab and test for concrete hardness profile per the International Concrete Repair Institute specifications. If any defects are found, it will be discussed with various options to mitigate the risk. Most common defects are moisture in the slab & cracks which our technicians resolve it before installing the floors.

STEP TWO

Preparation of Concrete Surface: Grinding

Surface preparation is key to the project. This is what differentiates DIY to professional installations. Moisture mitigating barrier (If needed) is applied along with Joint fillers/ Crack treatment as needed. Afterwards, concrete surface is opened up using our State of Art Equipment such as concrete grinder ((800 Lbs) per the engineering standards. We utilize dust collection system to minimize dust in the enviroment.

STEP THREE

Base Coat Application

100% Solids, Self Priming pure Polyurea basecoat is mixed and applied. We do not use epoxy or water based base coat which does not last. Our polyurea coat is 4x stronger than epoxy, does not peel and provides adhesion to the concrete to last forever. This is the most important application since this is what holds the floor to the concrete. Compromising this with low quality hybrid options will lead to peeling of the floor. This is one of the factors which differentiates us in the industry.

STEP FOUR

Flakes/ Chips Broadcasting

While the base coat is still wet, we broadcast to full floor with colored chips/flakes of your selection. This gives color and texture to the floor.

STEP FIVE

Scraping the Chips/Flakes

After Chip/Flakes application, the floor is allowed to fully cure followed by scraping and vacuum. Scraping provides a texture smoothing the floor surface to remove any loose or vertical standing flakes.

STEP SIX

Clear Coat Application

After your floor is prepped, coated, flaked, scraped, and vacuumed, we can start our final step – the application of our Polyaspartic UV stable clear coat which is 4X stronger, will not ship or peel, easy to clean and 100% Antibacterial/ Antimicrobial. It comes with 15 year warranty.
